The Poet
Poetry is my first love & passion. I started writing at age 9 as a way to release the pain & frustration I felt because of family & self-esteem issues. Poetry saved my life, & it gave me a reason to live. I love to express myself through words & connect with the audience. I realized a long time ago that words can either hurt or heal, & when I accepted my calling as a Poet I chose to let my words heal.
The Author
My journey as an Author started in 2010. I wanted to write poetry books that were deep & heartfelt. My books are like my children because they each have their own personality & are beautiful to me.
